From the moment a little girl is able to verbally express herself, most little girls ask for a doll. A doll teaches a child to nurture, care take and practice being a mommy. When that child becomes a woman and has a real baby, all her years of practicing come into play. All the time she carried her doll from one place to the next and made sure to always bring her baby's blanket with her wherever they went was a testament to her ability to love someone more than herself. Being pregnant is natures way of showing the wonder of God (or whom ever it is you believe in) and his power.
Continuing to be blessed by people who believe in my God given abilities and craft, I was asked to photograph the miracle of pregnancy while this beautiful couple anxiously await the birth of their first child, a son. They both wore blue, which I thought was very appropriate and too adorable! You could see the excitement and playful energy about this couple, but most of all you could see that this child will be loved and given all this world has to offer.
I want to wish Melissa and Tre all the patience and success of being parents! Congratulations again and may God bless your new family!
